Made in the Berber tradition using wool from their sheep and vegetable dyes from their garden including blue from indigo, yellow from saffron, red from poppy and orange from henna.

These rugs tell a story. The Berber people made them for themselves as a dowry, or a marriage carpet. It's a message from the bride-to-be to her future husband, for example, conveying to him the colors that she liked by using those colors.
